Health Education and Adult Literacy: Breast and Cervical Cancer (HEAL:BCC)

The HEAL:BCC project is designed to introduce the topic of breast and cervical cancer early detection and screening in adult basic education (ABE) and English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) classrooms while at the same time supporting learners' goals of strengthening their reading, writing and oral presentation skills. The HEAL:BCC Website provides background information, classroom materials, Web resources, and an on-line newsletter. HEAL:BCC is a project of World Education with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
