- What it checks for: Lumps or changes in your testicles that might be signs of testicular cancer. The testicles hang behind your penis in a sac of skin called the scrotum. The job of the testicles is tomake sperm.
- What is done: While you are standing, your health care provider carefully feels your testicles for lumps.
- Who should be tested: Men ages 21 and over.
- How often: At every check-up.
